In the project to expand the Silesian Logistic Center in Sosnowiec, approximately 2,500 square meters have been set aside for a cross-docking facility. The remaining space of roughly 23,000 square meters in the investment project executed by Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych will be used for warehousing purposes.
“It is an offering that is sought for by tenants, because specialized cross-docking warehouse space is rarely available on the market. This is why we believe our proposal will enjoy significant interest”, said Krzysztof Mucha, Business Development Manager at BIK.
Cross-docking is break-bulk transshipment in which goods are unloaded or repackaged and sent to the recipient directly from the warehouse without any additional storage time.
After the project is completed, the Silesian Logistic Center will grow by about 25,000 square meters.
Expansion of the logistic park in Sosnowiec is one of the goals of the issue, for which BIK has raised funds recently through a public stock issue.
